Today we celebrate the remarkable 10-year milestone of treating patients with multicentric Castleman’s disease (MCD) who are human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) negative and human herpesvirus-8 (HHV-8) negative. Over the past decade, we've witnessed incredible strides in research of this rare disease, highlighted by the establishment of international, evidence-based consensus diagnostic criteria and treatment guidelines for idiopathic multicentric Castleman disease (iMCD). Recordati Rare Diseases Inc. is proud to support patients battling iMCD. As we commemorate this milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to continued innovation, advocacy, and compassion. Acute Intermittent Porphyria (AIP) is often misdiagnosed due to its common non-specific symptoms.
